Mikey and Will, are pocket Shih Tzus, sometimes called Imperial Shih Tzus. They came together and are a BONDED pair. They will ONLY be adopted together. Mikey is the gray pup, weighs 5 pounds and is a real sweetie. He is 6 years old and is playful and friendly. Will, is the tan pup, he is 5 pounds and  8 years old. As you can see from the pic, his right eye is missing. This is an old surgery, completely healed, and he has no problems seeing from his remaining eye. He is grieving a bit more for his owner than Mikey, and is a little withdrawn,  but is a sweet and friendly little boy. He is responsive and will just need some tlc to open up fully to a new family. Their owner went in a nursing home, none of the family were willing to take in these sweet boys and they were abandoned at a kill shelter. They have been neutered and are doing great with going outside, as  well as using a piddle pad in the house.  Due to their size, they will not be placed in a home with children under 10 years old, nor with any other dogs over 10 pounds. They are fine with friendly cats.

Their adoption fee will be $350 for the pair. We are an all volunteer 501(c)(3) so all funds go right back into taking care of these sweet pups.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
