My name is Toby. My rescue mommy was cool enough to bring me into her rescue when I became an unwanted dog. Living in the mountain of Northern AL was a tough life. I was am a young dog and only needed someone to show me love and affection. I am a very sweet dog and give love and affection in return. I have learned my house manners, go straight to my crate at meal times without even being told too! I sleep quietly in my crate until I am let out in the mornings. I don't use the potty in the house and and I am pretty good about only chewing on what I am suppose to. I use to get confused about what was chew toys and what wasn't but I have gotten so much better. I am great with the other dogs here at the rescue and don't really know about cats. I've had a few run in with the bob cats on the mountain so they do scare me a little but I think I will be OK with cats. Kids are great and I love them!
I am a very healthy dog and tested Heart Worm Neg. I have been on monthly preventatives for the last 4 months.
If you would like more information about me, please email the rescue where I am living. Please tell my rescue mommy why you would like to adopt me and add a little about yourself.
Toby has been adopted to a family in WI through Last Paw Rescue
We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
