Chopper was dumped at a local shelter in NE Alabama where he was almost euthanized. The staff at the clinic thought he was such a special guy, that they begged me to take him into my rescue. BEST decision I have ever made! Chopper is a big, goofy, loveable guy that would make a wonderful addition to any family. He is a gentle giant looking for a family to love and cherish him. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids.
He has had some problems with his hip and knees and just had two ACL surgeries so follow up with vet is very important.
Heis HW Negative He is crate trained, loves riding in the car and going to the river to romp in the water. He walks well on a leash.
Please give Chopper a chance at a happy life with a family that will love him and take care of him.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.
