Spice is a wonderful little that was dumped on a dirt country road in rural Alabama, left alone to die and freeze. A good Samaritan found her and contact several rescues asking for help and was turned down everytime until they found us. All Spice wants is to love and be loved in return. She is a country girl but will do good in a family home. We have not tested her with other dogs but I am sure she will be fine once she is introduced to another dog properly. Spice is started on her monthly Heartworm preventatives, worm meds, and flea and tick meds. She is crate trained and gets along with kids and adults. We do not know about cats. A positive reinforcement training course is a must to help Spice adjust to her new family. This is a great bonding experience for the whole family and so much fun! Out of state adoptions can be arranged and transportation can be provided for an additional fee to cover Health Certificate for interstate travel and the transport fee.

 

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
