Romeo is a 2 yr old, 10 inch tall, 44 pound Blue Gottiline Pit Bull, or otherwise known as a Midget Pit Bull with lots of brawn and muscle. He is full of love and affection and will kill you with kisses and hugs. He is good with other dogs, cats and has even met a billy goat! He is playful, huggable, loveable and an all around joy to be with.
He made a long journey from CA where he was left to die in a high kill shelter, until someone reached out to us here in AL asking us to help save his life. Everyone from the Boarding facility where he spent the better part of two months, too two temporary fosters, too 5 different divers to get him here, fell head over hills in love with this little man.
Romeo is neutered, Heart worm negative, micro chipped, UTD on all his shots including rabies, and on monthly preventatives for Heart worm, ticks, fleas and parasites.
He rides well in a car. And we all know he has had lots of time in a car the last few weeks, and not one single complaint. He likes to look out the car windows or just curl up on the seat next to you and sleep. He is great on a leash for walks, and loves to explore, so an 8 ft leash is recommended.
He eats and sleeps in his crate and will not make a sound! He is a playful boy and I strongly recommend supervision with other playful pups.
Romeo will require a positive obedience course upon adoption. NO EXCEPTIONS! Romeo is a special breed with a special personality that everyone he meets just loves. We want him to stay that way!! We will not adopt Romeo out to a family that have children under the age of 10.
Romeo will come with a preregistered microchip, tag with our phone#
and a rabies tag and must remain on him at all times, except for bathing.
For an application and meet and greet, please email info@ffosk9rescue.org.
Meet and greet must include ALL family members and ALL pets. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We strive to find the most qualified adopters for our pets and we aim to set our pets up for success.
Romeo will be an inside pet and must have a secured fenced in area, or 100% supervision while outside.
Because Romeo's vetting, boarding and other necessities were more costly than what we normally pay, his adoption fee is $350.
We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
