If you are interested in this sweet baby, you must fill out an application at http://ffosk9rescue.org/adoption-application/ to be considered.
This sweet pup was born 1/24/15. The mother is thought to be a Sheppard mix and weighs 65 lbs. We have no idea about the father, as she was abandoned close to term and the puppies were born in rescue. They are very healthy, have had a full round of wormer, and will get their shots 3/7 and again 3/21 . They have been handled a lot, love to be cuddled and will be available for adoption 3/28/15.
A vet reference check and home visit will be done prior to adoption.
The adoption donation is $150, which includes a $50 spay/neuter deposit. This will be forwarded to the vet of your choice. The normal contract will include an agreement to have the puppy spayed or neutered and is not negotiable.
Out of state adoptions are possible, you must be willing pay for the health certificate if needed and possibly a transport fee, should a transport be available to your area. You are also welcome to pick up your new family member. We do not ship our dogs.
We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
