Sebastian was a stray that wandered into one of our foster mom's homes. He had been attacked by a pack of dogs down the road and had several wounds on his neck and head. They are all healing nicely. We believe him to be a Labradoodle or a standard Poodle, 6-10 months old and will be confirmed by a vet as soon as we can get him in for his neuter and rabies vaccination. His hair is very curly and he will need regularly grooming. He is very smart and is as sweet as can be. He is learning to walk on a leash, but he needs a large, securely fenced, yard to do puppy things and his business. He is strong and while not hyper at all does need space to be able to run, jump and play. He is sleeping in a crate at night and I hesitate to say he's house trained. He has not had an accident in the house but is watched very closely, he does piddle a little when first getting out of his crate in the AM when he's excited to be getting out. He has a hard time doing his business on a leash. He gets along with other pups, and has a healthy respect for cats, is very smart, strong and will make a wonderful addition to any active family. He will have a complete vet exam, heartworm tested, brought up to date with all vaccines and preventatives, neutered and groomed prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $375 to cover expenses. Plus transport fee if needed. We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
