Smokey Joe is more outgoing than his sister Tipper! He is currently 6 months old.
He is good with other dogs but we are not sure about cats. He is timid and shy at first but warms up  very quickly.
He seems good with kids including a toddler who he is currently fostered with. 
Smokey Joe walks on a leash but still needs more training.  He must be walked with a slip leash until he is fully trained at leash walking. He just wants to run and play and will pull on his leash. Proper training is require. Foster is working with him and he is getting better.

Smokey sleeps in a crate at night and does very well. He rides good in a car.
Tipper will make the best companion for someone.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
