If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups, the first step is to fill out an application at http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .
CHIP'S ADOPTION FEE IS $225 WITH A SIGNED NEUTER AGREEMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN PUPPY BEING RECLAIMED FROM ADOPTER. Therefore we have to consider local Adoptions only. Chip is a personality plus 4.6 pound Chiweenie, Chihuahua/Daschund mix. He is 14 weeks old and is very loving and playful. He is a super sweet little boy that loves to romp and play with the other puppy in his foster home, but also loves to snuggle with his foster mom on the couch and watch TV. His current weight is 4.8 pounds and based on his size now we'd expect him to be around 9 or 10 pounds fully grown. He can be a little shy upon first meeting, but warms up quickly and is a wonderful snuggler. Chip is very intelligent and is doing very well with his house training. He never soiled his bedding. He is using newspapers, as he liked to play with the potty pads. Though, as with any young pup, he will need supervision when out in your home. He loved romping outside when it's been warm enough for him to be out. He would do best with a home with lots of attention and a fursibling that will play with him. Due to his size, he will not be placed in a home with children under 8, or other dogs over 25 pounds. He is so ready to be your very best friend. We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
