Willy is an 8 year old Yorkie that just needs a place to live and be loved  We strongly believe Willy was a a back yard breeder or puppy mill stud. He was in horrible shape when we found him walking aimlessly down the road. He is super friendly and only whimpers when he wants something but never ever barks. He is learning that snuggling is nice but is perfectly happy just laying on the couch or at your feet, and he also enjoys small walks in the yard exploring. 
Willy had 4 teeth extracted but can still  eat dry kibble mixed with wet food.
He is Heartworm negative and Up to date on all his shots and started on flea tick and heart worm preventative and neutered. Because of his size and age he will need a home with older kids.Preferably he needs to go to a home with someone retired but still active to take him for walks.
He does like to go and hide inside his crate to take naps and eat.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
