Charly is a sweet 18 pound 7 month old Dachshund mix. He is such a good little dog! He is great with people of all ages and sizes, great with all other dogs. Loved to ride in a car, sleep in a crate and go for walks on a leash.

Charly is always so happy and only wants to please. He is a playful little tike so he needs to go to a home where his people are willing to spend time playing fetch or tug of war, and take him on daily walks so he keeps his slim figure.

Charly is not completely house broke but his foster family is working on that and he is getting better and better.

Charly is up to date on his shots, Heartworm tested negative and started on his monthly preventatives. He is also neutered.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
