Marion is a beautiful 2 year old girl, who had to be surrendered due her her owner's health and her needing to move into senior housing. She is a wonderfully friendly pup. She was staying with a family member outside, and is very matted. They tried to do some grooming with scissors, so her coat is a bit ragged but we're working on getting her brushed out. When her coat is back up to par,  she will be a gorgeous girl. She is wonderful with children, and all adults. She can be a little timid when first meeting other dogs, but gets along with them fine once she trusts them. Doesn't seem to mind a cat one way or another. She loves sitting on the couch with her head on your lap and rides in a car wonderfully. She would be the perfect family pup. Unfortunately, she was use to running loose and will need a yard and a tall fence, preferably a privacy fence, to keep her safe. She is spayed, UTD on her vaccinations and preventatives. Unfortunately, she has been found positive for heart worms and will be undergoing treatment as soon as the vet receives the meds. She should be ready for adoption in about 2 weeks.

Her adoption donation is $200, we are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) group,  so your donations are tax deductible and go right back into the care of these and future wonderful pups.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
