If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups, the first step is to fill out an application at http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .
You MUST fill out an application at Welcome to FFOS (ffosk9resq.org) to be considered as a potential adopter. Hitting "interested" will just have us send you a note to fill out an app. Adopters must sign a contract agreeing to having the puppy spay/or neuter when they are old enough. The adoption fee is $325, of which $75 will be refunded upon confirmation from your vet of the spay/neuter. Once a completed application is received the foster mom will contact you. Bailey is a very sweet little Chiweenie with perhaps a bit of Pug as well. He is precious, loves to be held, and is very playful. Bailey is the talker of the group. He is a little more cautious of being picked up than his siblings but doesn't want to miss out on anything. He will let you know when he wants your attention and will sleep on your shoulder while you watch TV. He would love kids of his very own as long as they are older and understand that a 9-10lb pup has very fragile legs. He is a little over 3 lbs currently. We are working on paper training in the little play pen they are in, but he is a puppy and will need house training. We are a small, home based, all volunteer rescue. There is no CEO making $1million a year. ALL the money goes in the care and maintenance of the animals. We're in NE Alabama, so if transport is needed it will be an extra $180 and will depend on the availability of a transport service to your area. Or you can come get him. We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
