If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups, the first step is to fill out an application at http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .
BENITA'S ADOPTION FEE IS $225 WITH A SIGNED NEUTER AGREEMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN PUPPY BEING RECLAIMED FROM ADOPTER. Therefore we have to consider local Adoptions only. We were told that Benita is a Chiweenie, though she looks all Chihuahua. She is 6 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds. Based on her size now, we'd expect her to be around 6 to 7 pounds fully grown. She is a true doll baby, super sweet and loves to play with the other puppy in her foster home. She is also a consummate snuggler and loves to sit on her foster mom's shoulder while she is watching TV. Benita is a smart little girl and never soiled her bedding. She is doing very well with her house training and uses the potty pads, though, as with any young pup, she will need supervision when out in your home. She would do well with a home with lots of love and attention along with a fursibling that will play with her. Due to her size, he will not be placed in a home with children under 8, or other dogs over 20 pounds. She will be ready for her forever home right after Christmas. We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
